Women Leaders Association Names Rhonda Fekete First Columbus Coaching Partner

The Women Leaders Association, the largest publisher and events organization for women professionals with 43,000 members and more than 130 regional chapters, today announced Rhonda Fekete as the first official Coaching Partner of its Columbus chapter, ColumbusWomenLeaders.org. The appointment launches the association's new Coaching Partners program in central Ohio, giving members direct access to coaches who have been carefully screened for credentials, track record, and client results.

The Coaching Partners program was created to solve a problem the association's members raise constantly: coaching is one of the highest-impact investments a professional woman can make in her career — and one of the hardest to shop for. Coaching titles are unregulated, quality varies enormously, and a leader evaluating coaches on her own has little way to verify who is genuinely proven. Under the new program, the Women Leaders Association does much of that screening on the member's behalf. Every Coaching Partner is vetted for recognized certifications, verifiable experience, and excellent client reviews before being presented to members, so each chapter's professionals can book a consultation with confidence, have a great experience, and keep rising in their careers.

Every meaningful transition begins with a conversation — and Fekete has spent a career mastering the ones that matter most. An executive coach, leadership coach, career strategist, and non-financial retirement coach, she helps thoughtful, accomplished professionals gain the clarity they need to make intentional decisions about work, leadership, and retirement. She brings more than 30 years of leadership, human resources, and coaching experience — and more than 5,000 hours of professional coaching — to her work with leaders navigating significant professional and personal transitions. Prior to founding Career Pointe Consulting, LLC, she held senior leadership roles in finance, human resources, and organizational development, including more than a decade at PricewaterhouseCoopers, chief administrative and HR leadership at RED Capital Group, now Lument, and a major law firm, and nearly eight years in sales development and coaching at Nationwide Financial. She has coached leaders across Fortune 100 financial services organizations, attorneys, general counsel, law firm partners, and professionals navigating major career and life transitions.

What sets Fekete apart in a growing field is her second specialty: the non-financial dimensions of retirement. An ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Certified Professional Retirement Coach (CPRC 2.0), she works with individuals — and engages with financial advisors around — the side of retirement the numbers never capture: identity, purpose, relationships, structure, and lifestyle. She is a contributing author of Retirement Voices: Stories of Reinvention, Purpose, and Possibilities (RCA, 2026), Transformational Sales Leadership (Routledge, 2024), and Out of the Box Retirement (RCA, 2019), writes the Living Well, Beyond Wealth newsletter, and has served as an adjunct professor of human resource management and as 2012 president of the International Coach Federation's Columbus Charter Chapter.

"Every meaningful transition begins with a conversation," said Fekete. "Whether a leader is stepping into greater responsibility, weighing a career change, or preparing for a retirement that has to hold more than a portfolio, my role is not to provide answers — it is to ask the questions that help her uncover her own best thinking. When clients gain that clarity, they make intentional decisions with confidence and ownership. I'm honored to bring that work to the Women Leaders Association's Columbus members."

Columbus-area members can now view Fekete's full profile, Per her preferred approach, members are invited to email her with a brief introduction — what prompted them to reach out and what they hope coaching will help them accomplish — and if it appears to be a good fit, she will personally invite them to a complimentary 20-minute introductory conversation, at

"Rhonda covers the whole arc of a professional life — leading with confidence in the middle of it, navigating the transitions that redefine it, and preparing for the chapter after it," said Lydia Price, 2026 Volunteer Chair of the Women Leaders Association. "Very few coaches hold both an ICF Professional Certified Coach credential and certification in retirement coaching, and fewer still back it with three decades inside Fortune 100 financial services and 5,000 hours of coaching. Launching our Columbus program with that range is exactly what Coaching Partners promises."

The Columbus launch is part of a national rollout, with the association planning to extend the Coaching Partners program across its network of more than 130 chapters, pairing each city's members with coaches selected for that market.

The Coaching Partners program extends the association's broader mission of giving professional women both the structural transparency and the individual support they need to advance. Research from Pew and others estimates that women still earn roughly 15 percent less than men on average, and most women have little visibility into which employers actually advance women fairly. The Women Leaders Association has invested heavily in closing that information gap: its Glass Ceiling Score project, uses big data to score most major U.S. employers on how fairly they promote women into management and executive roles, and its chapters publish Best Women Employers rankings, compensation studies, and annual Top 50 Women Leaders awards. Coaching Partners adds the complementary, personal dimension: once a member can see the landscape clearly, a proven coach helps her move through it.
